Stony Plain Seed Cleaning Association Ltd.
Business Description
The Stony Plain Seed Cleaning Association has been in business since 1954 and moved to it's current location in 1986. The plant is conveniently located just west of Edmonton and is accessible from either Highway 16 or 16A.
We are capable of cleaning cereals, pulses and specialty crops with storage capacity of approximately 1,600 metric tonnes of grain.
Our robotic bagging system and bulk handling equipment enables us to efficiently package & load both containers and trucks. We also have the ability to load railcars at a secondary facility a few minutes north of our plant.
We market & export crops such as oats, barley, flax, rye, peas and other specialty grains. We have a demand for all "heated" grains.
