Once every three years, IFOAM - Organics International organizes the Organic World Congress: the leading event for the development of the organic sector worldwide. It is held to promote and celebrate the inevitable turning of global agriculture to organic farming methods and to measure progress.

Natexpo is the only trade show providing a well-attuned response to the expectations of organic professionals. In 2017, Natexpo welcomed 850 exhibitors with more than 26 countries represented.

During this event, COTA members meet with provincial representatives from across the country to discuss organic agriculture and trade in Canada and the needs of the industry. Private meetings are held with relevant Cabinet Ministers and Members of Parliament, in addition to a COTA-hosted organic reception at Parliament Hill.
