Only North American-based businesses, organizations or individuals engaged in the production, distribution, certification, or promotion of certified organic products and the services required to produce them are eligible for Trade Membership.

Farmers are eligible for a low-fee membership. COTA’s Farmstead membership ($50) is available for those who own or lease an organic farm, have a functional role as an organic farmer, and derive their income from an organic farm, growing and selling less than $250,000 per year in organic agricultural products.
Associate Member (Non-Voting)
