The Canada Organic Trade Association is hosting an information session to inform Canadian stakeholders on changes to the US Canada Organic Equivalency arrangement related to multi-ingredient products produced in countries outside of the USA or Canada (referred to as "third country"). The changes have already been implemented by the National Organic Program (NOP) and this session is to inform Canadians of possible ramifications and changes to the Canada Organic Regime's stance on third country multi-ingredient products being included in the US Canada Organic Equivalency. A Survey Monkey consultation will follow to capture all Canadian feedback in a written format that will be summarized and presented back to CFIA on this matter.
Please attend this important webinar as there may be significant implications to your supply chain.
