Business Description
Anne Fallaise, founder of Jo Anne's Place Health Foods began her journey of providing natural health products in 1976 when she saw the need for such products for her own family. With the encouragement from her entrepreneur father, and the support of her husband Murray, Jo Anne opened her first store in her home in the town of Lindsay. She started with a 500 square foot space in her living room. She offered supplements, food and cosmetics while educating others on the importance of healthy whole food, and the benefits of using natural cosmetics. As Jo Anne's passion for spreading health grew so did her store. She moved to a 1,000 square foot space in another house in Lindsay to provide more product and service to her growing clientèle, as the need for a store front became more apparent Jo Anne's Place made 84 Russell St. West in the Queen's Square Plaza its home. Today Jo Anne's Place has over 2500 square feet of retail and storage space to serve our customers in the Kawartha Lakes and surrounding area.
